One of the shows that I remember watching back in the day was Sagwa the Siamese Chinese Cat.
Around early elementary school after my grandma died, I'd watch it on this tiny tv in the back room.

Also does the Simpsons count? And South Park?  Because I remember those too.

Muppets, Arthur and PB&J are about the only three that really hold up for me.  Sesame Street has its moment, but it doesn't have the same level of wit as its more mature counterpart.  Arthur almost got my vote as it was surprisingly mature for a pre-school show.

Really hard to pick one... Of this whole list, the only two I watched when I was a kid were Sesame Street and the Muppet Show. The original Muppet Show ranks pretty high... Galaxy Rangers, the Real Ghostbusters, Spider-Man, Dungeons and Dragons, Galaxy High (very short-lived), Robotech III: the Invid Invasion, Loony Toons, Animaniacs...
